DBHelm is a unified control plane for 56 database engines across Kubernetes, VMs, and cloud — built end-to-end in TypeScript and evolving into a fully AI-driven web platform. We're a small, high-ownership team looking for self-driven engineers who already have strong, hands-on skills.

6-month Internship → Full-time (PPO)
Compensation
₹15,000/mo (months 1–3) → ₹20,000–25,000/mo (months 4–6, performance-based)
₹5–8 LPA on conversion (performance-based)
Eligibility
Strong hands-on skills in the required stack + a fast, self-driven learner. Final-year students, recent graduates & self-taught developers all welcome — degree optional; no formal training provided.

AI / Backend Engineer (Intern)
Own our Node.js/TypeScript backend and our AI features — the structured layers that turn natural-language requests into safe, validated database actions.
Must-have skills
- Strong TypeScript / JavaScript
- Node.js backend (Express or similar)
- SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
- Hands-on LLM / Generative AI API + prompt engineering
- REST APIs, async/await, security, Git, unit testing
- End-to-end functional testing across the databases DBHelm supports
Full-Stack / Frontend Engineer (Intern)
Own the React UI and the AI assistant experience — dashboards, query consoles, and conversational/streaming interfaces.
Must-have skills
- Strong React + TypeScript
- HTML, CSS, Tailwind
- State management + consuming REST APIs
- React hooks & component-driven UI
- Async data fetching with clean loading & error states
- End-to-end functional testing across the databases DBHelm supports
DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineer (Intern)
Own production readiness — CI/CD, packaging, Kubernetes + cloud database operations, monitoring, and security.
Must-have skills
- Linux & shell scripting (Bash)
- Docker & Kubernetes fundamentals
- CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar)
- At least one cloud (AWS or GCP)
- DB administration basics + networking (TCP, TLS)
- End-to-end functional testing across the databases DBHelm supports
